Justice, Accountability, and Self-Determination for Eelam Tamils
IDCTE is a human rights organization advocating internationally for the rights, self-determination and justice of Eelam Tamils, and for recognition of the Tamil genocide.
Who We Are
A Voice for the Eelam Tamil Nation
IDCTE was founded by a group of new-generation Eelam Tamil youths from Nordic and other European countries who were frustrated by the delayed justice for the people of Tamil Eelam. We campaign for accountability and justice for the Tamil genocide, calling for international recognition for Tamil Genocide and for those responsible to be held accountable through independent international mechanisms. Alongside this, we advocate for a political solution that addresses the Tamil nation's political aspirations, based on our right to self-determination in Tamil Eelam.

How We Work
Two Pillars, One Goal
Advocacy and knowledge mobilization serve one goal: justice and accountability for the Tamil genocide, and self-determination for the Eelam Tamil nation.
Advocacy
We take the case for Tamil genocide recognition and accountability to parliaments, the UN and the EU, and build lasting international support for Eelam Tamils.
Knowledge Mobilization
We educate Eelam Tamil youth and non-Tamil audiences alike about our history and struggle, building informed voices that counter genocide denial and stand for justice.
On the Ground
Our Advocacy in the Field
From committee rooms in Brussels to ministries in Vienna, IDCTE takes the case for Eelam Tamils directly to the people who decide.
